Tooth Extractions
Quick and painless extractions
Extracting teeth
Tooth extraction is something everyone wants to avoid – including us! We always try to address issues with fillings, crowns and other restorative treatment if possible. However, if a tooth is badly broken, damaged by decay or you have impacted wisdom teeth, then we might need to remove the tooth altogether.
We work hard to make the extraction process as quick and painless as possible. Our skilled dental professionals are able to provide effective anaesthetic treatment as required and using the right equipment will extract your teeth with the utmost care and within a sterile environment.
In cases where patients may experience swelling or discomfort after the procedure, we will apply a special dressing to protect the area afterwards, prescribe antibiotics or recommend over-the-counter painkillers as required. We pride ourselves on our excellent aftercare advice, which will have you healed and smiling again in no time.
If the tooth is important to function or visible, then we can discuss all the options for replacing the tooth prior to the tooth extraction. If planned well, you can leave the surgery with a replacement tooth immediately following the extraction thus not left with a gap. Click here to find more information on missing teeth.
