Dr Shamir Chandarana has been with the practice since inception and brings compassion, professionalism and a caring nature to his dentistry. He completed his first degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sheffield, before progressing to study Dentistry and graduating with an honour’s degree from the Peninsula School of Medicine & Dentistry.

With a strong desire to keep up to date with advancements in dental treatments, Shamir attends numerous postgraduate courses and has undertaken advanced training in Endodontics (root canal treatments) at Kings College London, giving him the skills to treat more advanced root canal treatments.

Shamir’s focus the the practice is to look after adults and children of all ages. He is a passionate clinician and invests his time in really getting to know his patients, educating and guiding them to take control and optimise their dental health and wellbeing. Shamir provides a full range of general and advanced restorative dental treatments and has a particular interest and skill in helping nervous/anxious patients overcome their fears.

Shamir is also practices minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. Including Invisalign a comprehensive range of other cosmetic treatments such as tooth whitening, composite bonding and porcelain veneers, to help patients look and feel their very best.

Raashi graduated from Kings College London in 2010 in Biomedical Science and then went on to complete her BDS at Peninsula School in Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2015. She completed her vocational training in a practice in Dorset.

Since then, Raashi has been working across practices in London and Surrey. Raashi is very passionate about her profession with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive restorative treatments and in the management of anxious patients. She is an Invisalign provider and uses the orthodontic system to help her patients achieve the beautiful smile they have always wanted.

In addition to dentistry, Raashi is passionate about all things facial aesthetics. She enjoys being able to offer skin rejuvenating treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and medical grade skincare to her patients and has competed her advanced aesthetics training with London School of Facial Aesthetics.

Friendly, enthusiastic and good-natured, Dr Hassan Abbas is dedicated to delivering an exceptional standard of care with a commitment to providing a positive patient experience.

Dr Abbas has a 1st class honours degree in Biomedical Sciences and graduated with a Dental Degree from the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Hassan has a diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy which is a diploma based solely on how to get effective and efficient outcomes using Invisalign and also has has a diploma in the use of Dental Implants.

Hassan’s interest, passion and almost obsession for Cosmetic Dentistry is evident from an impressive portfolio of work highlighting his devotion for clinical excellence which can be viewed on his instagram page @hassanabbas.dental.

Amie is passionate about high quality patient care and strives to provide a holistic approach to periodontal maintenance. Amie has an avid interest in facial aesthetics and enjoys creating natural looking enhancements for her patients.

When not working, Amie enjoys being outdoors, keeping fit and healthy and spending time with friends, family and two french bulldogs!

Lucia has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry, where her warm and patient-centered approach helps children, especially those who are anxious, feel at ease in the dental environment. She takes pride in guiding young patients on a journey that transforms their dental experience into one where they feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for. Her extensive training at Community Dental Services and the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital has further honed her skills in paediatric care, as well as her ability to treat anxious patients effectively.

Outside of work, Lucia enjoys staying active by training at the gym & exploring new destinations across the globe.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her dog, swimming and travelling around The UK in her little caravan with her husband and 2 teenage sons.

Prima is a valued member of the team at Dental House. She brings lots of enthusiasm and experience of treating patients from all backgrounds and ages. Over her career, she has worked in various specialisms within dentistry including, endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, cosmetic dentistry and paediatric dentistry.

Outside of work, Prima likes to spend her weekends with her friends. Her passions include travelling, swimming, gardening, cooking and embroidery.

Having spent her entire career working in dentistry, Wendy originally trained at Guys Hospital, London, as a Dental Nurse specialising in oral surgery and going on to work in a number of local hospitals as well as Surrey Dental Community. In 2000, Wendy decided to change career direction and support her husband in establishing Chris Howe Ceramics, a successful dental laboratory which is conveniently located in the same building and at the rear of Dental House.

Wendy’s skills and experience means she is acutely aware of the benefits of a holistic approach to modern dentistry and is committed to ensuring the whole dental team, from practice to laboratory, work together to make the patients journey at Dental House the very best it can be.
