Welcome to the Dental House Website – An update from the owners.

We’re excited to announce that we have now fully re-branded from Evolve Dental to Dental House. Our website is now live, fully functional and packed full of useful content, created for you.

Following government advice, we regret to inform that UK dental practices are still being advised to stop face-to-face appointments. However, we are continuing to stay open remotely to continue in providing an around the clock remote triaging service to all of our patients.

At Dental House, we are eager for things to go back to normal and are working with the relevant organisations to be able to reopen as soon as possible and return back our usual levels of care and service for you.

Emergency Care

Should you suffer from a dental emergency,  please e-mail us on info@dental-house.co.uk or leave a voicemail on our practice line (01932 239076) with your name, number and a brief message of the problem. Our dentists are closely monitoring all voicemails and emails (7 days a week) and are on hand to respond accordingly.

At the present moment, we are restricted in the care we can provide.  Currently, it is limited to advice on the telephone and the dispensing of antibiotic prescriptions where necessary. If your problems is very acute or of a more serious nature then we will direct you to the NHS 111 service. You may then be advised to go to one of the NHS Urgent Care Centres or even direct to hospital A&E.

General Enquiries

If you have any general dental questions or would like to know about any of our treatments, you can e-mail us as above, or alternatively, in light go the current measures, we are now pleased to be able to offer free virtual consultations to all new and prospective patients.

If you would like to take advantage of this service, please visit our new patient portal to book in for a virtual appointment with one of our dentists.

Future Care

We look forward to welcoming you back to the practice as soon as we get the green light from Public Health England and the Chief Dental Officer. In the meantime, we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the practice is a safe environment and in line with the strict government guidelines. Please be assured that providing a safe environment for both you and our staff is our number one priority.

As a dental practice, we already exhibit the strictest protocols in cross-infection control however, we anticipate that the logistics of dental treatment will be made more complicated for the foreseeable future.  This is due to staff having to wear more PPE and in the short-term we will be limited by very prescribed measures by the government for the types of treatment that can be undertaken.

Here are some guidance protocols which are likely to be implemented:

  • We will request that where possible you do not use public transport to arrive at the practice, this will apply to our staff as well.
  • Please do not arrive too early for your appointment as we are limiting the number of patients in the practice and waiting room.
  • Please where possible, attend by yourself unless the patient is a child or in need of care – please limit the chaperone to one adult.
  • We expect that all patients visiting the practice will have their temperature taken on arrival and asked to wash their hands.
  • Hand-sanitiser will also be provided for you, plus a disposable mask to wear while in the practice.
  • There will be social distancing measures in place in all areas of the practice.

We appreciate and understand some of these changes will cause some minor disruption, but they are vital to minimise the exposure and spread of Covid-19 and protect our team and our patients. We hope that in the not too distant future, once the risk reduces with the development of antigen tests and possibly a vaccine, these measures will reduce and normality will resume.

This in an ever-changing situation and we will update you with any information as soon as it becomes available.  In the meantime, we thank you for your forbearance and patience and very much look forward to seeing you at the practice in due course.

Yours faithfully

The Dental House team
